To the People Complaining About Food Stamps Program Recipients on Facebook

It wasn't too long ago one in eight of you reading this knew someone who went hungry, even if they didn't talk about it.  Now, the number is one in six of you know someone who is going hungry and they aren't talking about it.   For those not doing the math, that means a lot more hungry people, and they are not talking about it.  I don't talk about being poor a lot on the facebook, because a lot of people don't want to listen when you speak the truth.  They also want to complain about spending money on things but seem to have no problem paying for whatever internet access they have to get onto the facebook, the facebook doesn't charge you or me, but it is NOT free.  You have to have access and a minute or two a day to try to use it the best you can.  So there, it's not free.  In the U.S., the Food Stamp Program recipients have to spend time and gas and take in documents and be stigmatized by people looking when they pay using a brightly colored yellow card at the registers here where I live.  Anyone thinking people getting help to EAT from the government is wrong, seriously??  If people that complained about feeding the poor and hungry actually read their holy scriptures or lived by their principles they say they have.... They wouldn't be complaining, now would they?  After all, it's really not affecting them, they aren't HUNGRY.  They are sitting on their ass somewhere connected to an information access system and acting as if a poor person just stole their wallet or purse and ran off with it and no one cares about THEM.  The truth is, when it comes to the hungry, they don't have time to care about all of you that have more than enough and complain about their not having to suffer through another sleepless night with an empty stomach and worry over their children doing without a decent, not even "good", but a decent meal.  Thank you to everyone in America who pays taxes so that these children and their parents are not going hungry.  Seventy years ago, a lot of people starved to death, and no one knows who they are.  Today you all would sit and complain on facebook when such things happen.  Good for you.  Go do something about the hunger. Be glad the hungry are not breaking into your house to steal your food while you are eating out at a restaurant and posting to the facebook  to 'tell' your 'friends' how bad the service is.

Our website address is [http://gapi.giving.officelive.com] Programmatic Aspect 2010 Community Outreach and Building: Global Anti-Poverty Initiative Program.

Global Anti-Poverty Initiative is an independent non-profit organization and an association for philanthropic endeavors through the Global MicroEmpowerment Initiative Program.

The focus of this questionnaire is local in nature, but we are asking for participants everywhere, as the Global Anti-Poverty Initiative Program is itself international in scope.

Our office is located in the Greater New Orleans area, and our Programmatic Aspect 2010 Community Outreach and Building: "Taking a Bite out of Hunger in City Schools" is seeking active local participation.

The "Taking a Bite out of Hunger..." program is scheduled to begin operating on the national and international scale, and we will provide to you the ability to express your interest in being of help beyond answering our questions and giving us the data to perform the evaluation.

One of the reasons for the initiative, as always, is helping the children who can't help themselves.

Please stay tuned as I will update here and everywhere, the plan I have for helping those who are already helping kids who simply do not have enough to eat at home.

The program is targeting kids who are hungry after leaving school. Most times not having enough to eat starting from the evenings on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, until they have the opportunity to eat breakfast Monday mornings at school again.

Abating the hunger in K-6 elementary schools; by funding a supply of back-packs; from which they can feed themselves simple self-serve foods. Yes, it happens, it is a reality.

One of the largest questions is - How can I help the school kids during the summer recess?!
The answers start with the community.
It is going to take community action, which is always one-person-at-a-time, choosing to do whatever they can to help - to get it done.

To those people already pouring their heart and soul into this every day-
Global Anti-Poverty Initiative Program expresses our thanks to you again and I hope that this initiative will also allow me to help with your efforts, We will piece the puzzles all together, we have the will power - more to come!!
